Snow develops from Atigun Pass northward to about MP 370 on the Dalton tonight and continues through the day Thursday before ending Thursday night. Snow may mix with rain from Sagwon north but will remain mostly snow south of there, especially towards Toolik Lake and Atigun Pass. Snowfall totals will be around 3 to 6 inches in Atigun Pass and 2 to 5 inches from Toolik Lake to Sagwon. Snow accumulations north of Sagwon will drop off quickly.

Areas of locally dense fog will affect much of the Northland early this morning. Visibilities of 1/2 to 1/4 mile have already been observed, which should persist through sunrise. Visibilities are expected to improve after sunrise. If traveling early this morning, reduce your speed and use low- beam headlights when encountering foggy areas. A Dense Fog Advisory may be needed. Keep updated on the latest forecast for fog development trends.
