For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 6 PM to 10 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS…This could result in some roads becoming impassable. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…High tide will occur around 8:01 PM today at Charleston. Saltwater inundation

* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…Barranquitas, Coamo, Corozal, Orocovis and Santa Isabel. * WHEN…Until 515 PM AST. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 217 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
