* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE…Corozal and Morovis. * WHEN…Until 445 PM AST. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 222 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 221 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. At 120 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 17 miles south of McCamey, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central Pecos County. This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 298 and 309.
