At 1215 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Cumberland Falls S.P., or 9 miles northwest of Williamsburg, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Williamsburg, Barbourville, Julip, Cumberland Falls S.P., Swan Lake, Clate, Birdseye, Verne, Goldbug, Gausdale, King, Louden, Krupp, Polly Camp, Youngs Creek, Bark Camp, Nevisdale, Bon, Dixie, and Siler.
