Rain will overspread the area during the early morning hours. Temperatures will be near or just below freezing as the rain moves in, so a brief period of freezing rain may be possible at the start of the Tuesday morning commute. This could lead to a light glaze on elevated surfaces and slick spots on area roadways, especially bridges and overpasses. Sidewalks may be slippery. Allow for some extra time to reach your destination Tuesday morning.
