* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of central Alabama, including the following counties, Bibb, Jefferson and Shelby. * WHEN…Until 215 AM CDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 1110 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. – Some locations

At 1003 PM MDT, the public reported gusty showers 11 miles southwest of Glenrock, or 16 miles east of Casper, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE…Public. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… Glenrock, Rolling Hills, Laprele Reservoir, and Deer Creek. This includes Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 145 and 175.

At 1103 PM CDT/1003 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6 miles west of Manning, or 25 miles north of Dickinson, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Killdeer, Halliday, Dunn Center, Manning, Mandaree, Mckenzie Bay Recreation Area, Twin Buttes, Little Missouri State Park, Oakdale, and Fort Berthold.
