At 719 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Prairie, or 7 miles north of West Point, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Prairie, Binford, New Hamilton, Strong, and Muldon.

At 514 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 20 miles northwest of Nordman, or 41 miles west of Bonners Ferry, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Boundary, northwestern Bonner and northeastern Pend Oreille Counties.
