The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at the University of Houston invites applicationsfor a full- time, tenure-track faculty position in the broad area of Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Information Science. Qualifications:
The applicant must have an earned Ph.D. in civil/environmental/aerospace/mechanical/electrical engineering or a related field in computer science with expertise in the broad area of artificial intelligence and quantum science. We are particularly interested in candidates who harness these techniques to answer scientific questions related to current US research priorities including the application of AI to cybersecurity, autonomy and robotics, data analysis, and the study of quantum sensing, communications and computing.
