* WHAT…Snow expected Above 4000 feet. Total snow accumulations 2 to 6 inches. * WHERE…In Oregon, East Slopes of the Oregon Cascades. In Washington, Upper Slopes of the Eastern Washington Cascades Crest. * WHEN…From 4 PM this afternoon to 1 PM PDT Monday. * IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be difficult due to periods of moderate to heavy snow. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Wet snow is expected mainly above 4000 feet. This will impact the higher mountain passes including White Pass and Santiam Pass. Anyone with outdoor activities in the mountains this weekend should be prepared for changing weather conditions.

* WHAT…Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding. * WHERE…Shoreline in Charles and King George Counties. * WHEN…Until midnight EDT tonight, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS…At 3.5 feet, water reaches yards near Cobb Island and docks near Dahlgren. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Tides two to two and a half feet above normal. The next high tide at Goose Bay is at 8:45 AM and 8:58 PM. The next high tide at Dahlgren is at 7:31 AM and 8:03 PM. The next high tide at Indian Head is at 12:39 PM and 12:52 AM.
