Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – Showers and thunderstorms producing rainfall rates of 0.50 to 1 inch per hour may drift off higher terrain and into the eastern portions of the San Gorgonio Pass, the Coachella Valley, and the San Diego County Deserts late this morning

At 419 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain has exited the Danville area, leaving only light to moderate rainfall. However, rainfall totals of 3 inches or more were observed in the City of Danville earlier this morning, with most of it falling over a short period of time. Area creeks and streams will remain high through 6 AM as the runoff from this rainfall continues to flow down these waterways. HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE…Radar. IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
