Light snow is expected this weekend and into Monday, but a powerful winter storm will move into Bristol Bay on Tuesday. The heaviest snow is expected from Huslia south and east, but some light accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are possible north to the Brooks Range. Gusty easterly winds develop Sunday and last through Tuesday and may lead to some areas of reduced visibility due to blowing snow.
