* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of North Central Washington, including the following county, Chelan. * WHEN…Until 630 PM PDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 327 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.4 and 0.75 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. This includes portions of the 25 mile burn scar from 2021. – Some locations that will experience flooding

At 328 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles west of Troy, or 28 miles southeast of Dayton. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary. HAZARD…Half inch hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Columbia County.
