Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 217 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

ESFSEW A moderately strong atmospheric river will impact Western Washington later today through Saturday night, bringing moderate to heavy rainfall to the region. Rainfall forecasts for the Olympics and Northern and Central Washington Cascades will be increasing, generally between 3 to 5 inches with locally higher amounts possible through Saturday night.
