At 914 AM EST, a lake effect snow band was located along a line extending from near DuBois southeast to near Huntingdon. Movement was southeast at 35 mph. Locations impacted include… State College, St. Marys, DuBois, Huntingdon, Clearfield, Tyrone, Ridgway, Johnsonburg, Park Forest Village, Philipsburg, Woodland, Curwensville, Stormstown, Bald Eagle, Belleville, Warriors Mark, Pine Grove Mills, Penfield, Hyde, and Osceola Mills. The snow can accumulate at a rate of one inch per hour or more in this lake effect snow band. Be prepared for hazardous driving conditions. Consider delaying travel if you will be going through this lake effect snow band. Gusty winds will result in areas of blowing snow. Roads

* WHAT…Visibility of one-quarter mile or less in dense fog. * WHERE…Yakima Valley and Lower Columbia Basin of Washington. * WHEN…Until 10 AM PST this morning. * IMPACTS…Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Areas of dense fog with visibility of one-quarter mile or less have been observed in portions of the lower Columbia Basin and Yakima Valley, including along I-82, US 395, and US 12. Fog is expected to persist through early to mid-morning before dissipating.
