At 425 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Shark Valley Obs Tower to Everglades National Park to 7 miles northwest of Mahogany Hammock. Movement was northwest at 5 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
