At 630 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Sandy Run, or 10 miles south of Cayce, moving southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include… St. Matthews, Gaston, Congaree National Park, Hopkins, Sandy Run, Swansea, Cameron, New Zion, Silver Lake, Lexington Acres Pond, and Fort Motte. This includes Interstate 26 between mile markers 118 and 145.
