Locations impacted include… State College, Clearfield, Park Forest Village, Philipsburg, Woodland, Curwensville, Stormstown, Lemont, Houserville, Pine Grove Mills, Penfield, Hyde, Osceola Mills, Plymptonville, Chester Hill, Karthaus, Snow Shoe, North Philipsburg, Clarence, and Port Matilda. The snow can accumulate quickly on roadways in this heavy snow shower. Be prepared for hazardous driving conditions. Consider delaying travel if you will be going through this heavy snow shower. Be prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra time when traveling.

moderate to heavy snow showers continue to impact portions of central West Virginia. Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a half of a mile in these moderate to heavy snow showers. Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories remain in effect for the area. Please monitor local media outlets and the national weather service for further statements. Icy roads are possible as the snow melts on the roads then quickly refreezes. Bridges and overpasses remain icy from earlier snowfall, and the new snowfall will hide the ice underneath. Slow down, especially when approaching bridges or overpasses, and avoid sudden changes in speed and direction. Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter

Patchy dense fog with visibility of one-quarter mile or less has been observed in portions of the lower Columbia Basin and Yakima Valley, including along I-82, US 395, and US 12. Fog is expected to persist through early to mid-morning before dissipating. Expect rapid reductions in visibility over short distances, slow down and allow extra distance between other vehicles on the road.
