At 916 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13 miles east of Felt, or 14 miles south of Boise City, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Cimarron and northeastern Dallam Counties.

* WHAT…Life threatening waves of 3 to 5 feet and dangerous currents are expected. * WHERE…Sheboygan and Ozaukee Counties. * WHEN…From Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening. * IMPACTS…Dangerous swimming conditions are expected due to high waves and onshore winds. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Southerly exposed beaches, piers, and/or breakwalls will be most vulnerable to these dangerous currents. Additionally, Moderate Swim Risk conditions are expected for Milwaukee, Racine, and Kenosha county beaches during a similar timeframe.

At 1013 PM EDT, Thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area this evening. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE…Radar. IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include… Rose City, Rose Township and Clear Lake.
