* WHAT…Sneaker waves possible. * WHERE…North and Central Coast of Oregon, and South Washington Coast. * WHEN…Through late Sunday night. * IMPACTS…Waves can run up significantly farther on a beach than normal, including over rocks and jetties. Sneaker waves can suddenly knock people off of their feet and quickly pull them into the frigid ocean which may lead to serious injury or drowning. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A Beach Hazards Statement is issued when sneaker waves create potentially life-threatening conditions in the surf zone. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 7 inches. * WHERE…Chatanika River Valley and Upper Chena River Valley. * WHEN…Until noon AKST Sunday. * IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The heaviest amounts will be in the hills off Chena Hot Springs Road.

Total snow accumulations between 6 to 12 inches. * WHERE…White Mountains and High Terrain South of the Yukon River and Yukon Flats. * WHEN…Until noon AKST Sunday. * IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…4 to 7 inches of snow is expected for the White Mountains Recreation Area. The heaviest amounts will be north and east of Eagle Summit, especially Circle and Chalkyitsik.
