Snow totals of 6 to 12 inches above 9000 feet, 2 to 6 inches between 7500 and 9000 feet. * WHERE…Southern Mountains. * WHEN…From 11 PM this evening to 5 AM MST Monday. * IMPACTS…Winter driving conditions are likely for all mountain routes above 9500 feet tonight, at or above 8000 feet by Sunday afternoon, with the most significant impacts occurring during periods of heavy precipitation. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snow levels will start near 9500 to 10000 feet Saturday night, falling to near 7500 to 8000 feet by Sunday afternoon. Snow levels will fall as low as 6500 to 7000 feet in heavier precipitation Sunday afternoon into Monday morning.

Morning observations and satellite indicate localized dense fog development is ongoing across the portions of northeast Florida and southeast Georgia, mainly along an north of Interstate 10 early this morning and will affect these areas until 9 AM. Given the nature of the fog visibilities on area roadways can quickly become reduce to one-quarter mile or less over short distances.
