* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of Deep South Texas, including the following county, Hidalgo. * WHEN…Until 700 PM CST. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 507 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2.5 inches are expected over the area. * WHAT…Increased threat of sneaker waves expected. * WHERE…Coastal Del Norte, Northern Humboldt Coast, Southwestern Humboldt and Mendocino Coast Counties. * WHEN…Through Sunday evening. . * IMPACTS…Large, unexpected waves can sweep across the beach without warning, sweeping people into the sea from rocks, jetties, and beaches. These sneaker waves can also move large objects such as logs, crushing anyone caught underneath.
