At 704 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over southeastern Ventura, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… Oxnard… Ventura… Camarillo… Western Malibu… Port Hueneme… Point Mugu State Park… Ventura Harbor… Newbury Park… Solimar Beach… Naval Base Ventura County… Silver Strand Beach… El Rio… and Seacliff.

* WHAT…Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low- lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE…Charles City, Surry, James City, Isle of Wight, York, Newport News and Hampton/Poquoson Counties, and Suffolk. * WHEN…Until 9 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS…Shallow flooding is expected in the most vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline resulting in a low threat of property damage. Expect up to one foot of water above ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Some roads and low lying property including parking lots, parks and lawns near the waterfront will experience shallow flooding.
