JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS: The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in computer engineering. Applications are welcome in all areas of computer engineering; this year, we particularly seek scholars in (i) energy-efficient and intelligent computing (e.g., AI-assisted architecture/EDA, in- or near-memory computing, neuromorphic systems) and (ii) reliable and secure systems (e.g., hardware/software security, trustworthy edge and cloud systems). Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a closely related field by the start date. The successful candidate will demonstrate: (a) the potential for scholarly activities that are supported by external funding; (b) a commitment to teach, develop new courses, and mentor students; and (c) a desire for university and professional service.

Salary range: The UC academic salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment.
