Education and Experience:
Level I: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Agriculture; no experience required.
Level II: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Agriculture and 2 years of experience in research practices and protocols relevant to the position.
Level III: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Agriculture and 4 years of experience in research practices and protocols relevant to the position.

The Laboratory for Equine and Comparative Orthopedic Research (LECOR) has openings for graduate research assistants working toward the PhD degree with a concentration in regenerative medicine. The focus of the laboratory is comparative, translational stem cell research for treatment of pathology associated with aging, trauma, or development. Evaluation techniques include cellular molecular, genetic (RNA and DNA) and compositional analysis, histology, cell culture, biomechanical testing, kinetics, and kinematics.
