Job Description Summary
The Auburn University Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering (ISE) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor with a start date of August 16, 2026. A strong emphasis will be placed on candidates whose research and teaching expertise include, but are not limited to, AI-Manufacturing, Machine Learning (ML), Data Analytics, and Quality, Statistics, and Reliability (QSR), with preference given to those applying data analytics and ML in manufacturing contexts. Candidates are expected to have a strong theoretical and practical understanding of modern ML, including concepts, methods, tooling, and workflows. Successful candidates should be able to teach classes at the graduate and undergraduate levels in the areas of data analytics, quality statistics, and advanced manufacturing.
