The Department of Civil and Urban Engineering at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering invites
applications for a full time, non-tenure track, renewable faculty position in Water Resources Engineering, at the rank of Industry Assistant Professor or Industry Associate Professor, with a start date of September 1, 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in water resources engineering, fluid mechanics, and related disciplines. Additional duties include mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, engaging with industry professional organizations and networks, promoting programs within and outside the university, and service to the department, school, and university.
Qualifications
Teaching experience with evidence of teaching excellence is required. Applicants must have earned a
