Job Summary
The Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in Quantum Information Science and Engineering (QISE), with the tentative start date in Fall of 2026. We are seeking an outstanding tenure-track Assistant Professor with a potential to be a world-class leader in the strategic QISE growth area, with a preferred emphasis on either:
1. Quantum information theory, quantum computing algorithms/architectures, applications of quantum computing; or
2. Quantum photonic integrated circuits.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline appropriate to the QISE research focus.
