Established in 1981, the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) is one of the three founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Built on a culture of excellence, the School is renowned for its high academic standards and extensive research activities. To support advanced research, the School hosts 13 research centres which are well-equipped with sophisticated and state-of-the-art equipment. The Francis College of Engineering (FCOE) at the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UMass Lowell) is searching for outstanding candidates for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Biomedical Engineering.  The position is anticipated to begin in September 2026.

UMass Lowell’s Department of Biomedical Engineering trains students to translate discoveries into real-world applications in the medical device and biotechnology industries through an ABET-accredited B.S. program—Massachusetts’ first at a public university—with specialized tracks in medical device development, cell and tissue engineering, and biomechanics. Students can accelerate their education with a 4+1 B.S.–to–M.S. option and pursue advanced studies via the intercampus Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology (BMEBT) M.S./Ph.D. or the Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, all enhanced by hands-on research in cutting-edge labs and core facilities.
