Position Overview

The University of Kansas (KU) Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) seeks outstanding individuals for a full time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Computer Engineering. Successful candidates will have research that demonstrates strong potential for collaboration with existing faculty and complements the department’s current strengths. We are particularly interested in exceptional individuals with expertise in broad areas of computer systems, including, but not limited to computer architecture, hardware and VLSI design, embedded systems, system software, edge/cloud/high-performance computing hardware, machine learning accelerators, hardware security, quantum computing, and quantum communications. Applicants must have earned a doctorate in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field by the time of appointment.
