The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Auburn University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position to begin in August 2026. Candidates with a strong background in mechanical engineering are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to applicants with research expertise in one of the following emerging and strength areas of the department: additive and advanced manufacturing; biomechanics and rehabilitation; electronics packaging and reliability; robotics and mechatronics; and guidance, navigation, and control of unmanned and robotic systems.
