10 | 11 08:37-08:38 2018.06.11-2018.06.13  We are happy to announce that the 12th International Workshop on the Functional Resonance Analysis Method (FRAM) will be hosted by Cardiff University (www.cardiff.ac.uk ) on June 11-13, 2018 in Cardiff, UK. The workshop will begin with an optional half-day FRAM tutorial on June 11, and continue with two full days of meetings and discussions on June 12 & 13. The aim of the workshop, affectionately referred to as the FRAMily meeting, is to share experiences from research and practice using the FRAM for systems modelling, event and safety analyses, design, or similar applications. Users are encouraged to share their experiences ofstrengths and weaknesses of the method, and to provide ideas for further developments.

The participants will have the opportunity to present and discuss the lessons learned – good as well as bad, practical as well as methodological. The workshop will be a unique – and first – opportunity for safety professionals and researchers to interact with like-minded colleagues, to debate the strengths and weaknesses of Safety-II, and to share ideas for further developments. The workshop will take place in Cardiff, UK on June 14-15, 2018, and is organized by Cardiff University in collaboration with FRAMsynt. The workshop follows the 2018 FRAMily meeting, which takes place at Cardiff University June 11-13.
