This search seeks applicants at the assistant, associate or full professor rank to serve as a faculty member of Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering. and may hold appointments in any of its departments, including Informatics, Computer Science, or Intelligent Systems Engineering. We seek exceptional researchers and educators whose work advances the science and engineering of intelligent, embodied, human-centered systems. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the new Bachelor of Science in Robotics degree, shaping the next generation of roboticists through research-driven teaching and mentoring.

Multiple, Tenured/Tenure-track Faculty Positions in Microelectronics Design and Nanoscale Engineering 

 

Indiana University Bloomington (IUB) is engaged in a multi-year initiative to expand research activities in microelectronics design and nanoscale engineering. The Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering invites applications for multiple tenured and tenure-track positions at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank to begin in the Fall of 2026. Appointments will be in the Intelligent Systems Engineering department, or other departments such as Computer Science and Informatics.

We welcome applicants in all areas of microelectronics and nanoscale engineering. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

Low-power microelectronics Wide-bandgap semiconductors RF, millimeter-wave, analog, mixed-signal, and digital integrated circuits Optoelectronics and photonics Neuromorphic computing, artificial intelligence and machine learning Quantum and 2D materials technologies & systems Micro and nanoelectromechanical systems (MEMS/NEMS) Electromagnetics and energy conversion Radiation-tolerant devices, circuits, and systems

AUSTIN, Texas – The Kerr County Disaster Recovery Center in Kerrville will close permanently at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11. Specialists from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration are still available to help flood survivors in Central Texas.

At Disaster Recovery Centers, FEMA specialists can explain the types of assistance available to survivors of the July 2-18 flooding, help them update their applications and refer them to other assistance programs. Representatives of the Texas Division of Emergency Management and the Small Business Administration are also available to help.

Survivors may visit any recovery center to get help or call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362
