The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University invites highly qualified applicants for an Assistant Professor position in Cybersecurity. This is a tenure-track appointment to the Professorial Stream to commence July 1, 2026.

We are seeking applicants with research and teaching interests in cybersecurity, broadly defined. While our search is not limited to specific subareas, we are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: OS security, software and systems security, network and web security, usable privacy and security, cyber-physical systems security, hardware security, applied cryptography, malware analysis, privacy engineering, and the security and privacy of AI/ML, including the use of AI/ML for security and privacy.
