Bezymianny (Kamchatka): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: VA IS NOT IDENTIFIABLE IN SATELLITE IMAGERY.

Kusatsu-Shirane (Honshu): The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) reported that unrest activity increased at Kusatsu-Shiranesan between 15 September 2025 (local) and 16 September 2025 (local). The alert level remained at “Level 2 – Restriction on proximity to the crater” (on a 5-level scale).
