Kusatsu-Shirane (Honshu): The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) reported that unrest continued at Kusatsu-Shiranesan between 29 September 2025 (local) and 30 September 2025 (local). The alert level remained at “Level 2 – Restriction on proximity to the crater” (on a 5-level scale).
