At 109 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a landspout over Whitehall, or 14 miles east of Gonzales, moving northwest at 20 mph. HAZARD…Landspouts and winds in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… French Settlement and Whitehall. This shower has been exhibiting rotation and there is a very low chance that a quick tornado could develop from this shower.
