At 829 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Pinehurst to 8 miles northwest of Hoffman to 10 miles northwest of Rockingham. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… Southern Pines, Rockingham, Wadesboro, Raeford, Carthage, Fort Bragg, Pinehurst, Aberdeen, Biscoe, and Hoffman.
