At 528 PM CDT/428 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles south of Carson to 11 miles northwest of Mcintosh to 4 miles northwest of Watauga. Movement was east at 25 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Morristown, Shields, Raleigh, St. Gertrude, Porcupine, Standing Rock, and northwestern Standing Rock Nation.

At 329 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Starkey, or 16 miles south of Meacham, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of west central Union County.
