Submission deadlines vary by program and proposals must meet program-specific requirements to be considered for review. For calendar year 2025, proposals are accepted after September 1, 2025. PIs should contact cognizant program officers for guidance.

The eligibility and submission requirements are the same as the previous version of this solicitation, with the exception that the request for the Expression of Interest (EOI) has been removed and the submission deadlines now follow individual participating programs’ funding opportunity instructions. Additionally, the focus has changed from measurements of interfacial systems at scale with in-situ and operando analysis to any research topic

* WHAT…South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected. * WHERE…Municipality of Skagway. * WHEN…From 1 PM Tuesday to 1 AM AKDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS…High winds will blow around unsecured objects and may damage property and cause power outages. Travel will be difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The strongest wind gusts are expected between 2pm and 9pm Tuesday evening. Strong winds are still possible, but not as likely, earlier in the day on Tuesday as well as after the warning ends. Winds are anticipated to diminish during the early morning hours of Wednesday before the next system moves into the area.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… Prisoners Harbor… Scorpion Ranch… Eastern Santa Cruz Island… Smugglers Cove… Anacapa Island… and Central Valley.
