Other locations in the path of this storm include Zenith.

An Air Quality Advisory has been issued by the following agencies: Environmental Protection Agency The Kootenai Tribe of Idaho has issued an Air Quality Advisory and a ban on open burning on the Tribal Reservation due to the elevated pollution levels. The cause of the current advisory is due to numerous fires burning throughout Washington, Idaho, and Canada. The burn ban applies to all outdoor burning – including agricultural, camping, and recreational fires – in all areas within external reservation boundaries regardless of ownership or tribal membership. Wildfire smoke is more than an irritant and can have long lasting effects on health. Sensitive groups should avoid outdoor exercise and minimize exposure

An Air Quality Alert has been issued by the following agencies: Washington Department of Ecology An Air Quality Alert has been issued for Chelan, Douglas, Ferry, Grant, Pend Oreille, and Stevens County until further notice due to current and expected wildfire smoke from regional fires. Particulate matter (PM2.5) levels may reach unhealthy levels in areas closest to active fires and Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups elsewhere in the region. When air quality is unhealthy, everyone should reduce exposure. Limit time outside, avoid strenous outdoor activity, and follow temps for cleaner indoor air.
