Fine fuels remain very dry across Vermont today according to the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation. Relative humidity values will be 35 to 45 percent, while south to southwest winds will gust between 20 and 30 mph. If any fires were to start, the weather and fuel conditions could cause fires to quickly spread and become difficult to contain. For more information about the current fire danger rating, any burn restrictions, and wildfire prevention and education, please visit the Vermont forestry or environmental protection website.
