Some storm drains will overflow, and some seawalls and docks will be overtopped. Boaters can expect less clearance under fixed bridges. Motorists should remember that persistent puddles around the times of high tide are almost certain to contain a mix of saltwater.

At 827 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Victor, or 17 miles southwest of Colorado Springs, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Fremont, southeastern Teller and southwestern El Paso Counties.
