Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. – Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. – Some locations that will experience flooding include… Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Scottsdale Airport, Camelback Mountain, Downtown Scottsdale, Piestewa Peak Park and Salt River Indian Community. –

At 1017 PM EDT, Wilkes County officials reported flash flooding along Main Street, Boone Trail Road, and US 421 near Winkler Mill Road. Multiple cars are stalled in water.
