At 1226 AM PST, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from over Highlands-Baywood Park to 19 miles west of Boulder Creek, or extending from near San Mateo to 26 miles southwest of Palo Alto, moving northeast at 20 mph.
