At 821 PM CST, trained weather spotters reported a thunderstorm near Atkins, or 7 miles west of Cedar Rapids, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD…Half inch hail. SOURCE…Trained weather spotters. IMPACT…Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include… Cedar Rapids, Marion, Hiawatha, Robins, Fairfax, Atkins, Central City, Springville, Palo, Alburnett, Whittier, Linn County Fairgrounds, Wanatee Park, Marion Airport, and Morgan Creek Park. This includes Interstate 380 between mile markers 20 and 29.
