At 624 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Purley, or 12 miles north of Winnsboro, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include… Mount Pleasant, Hagansport, Boxelder, Mount Vernon, Omaha, Wilkerson, Cookville, Purley, Cason, Winfield, Talco, Miller’s Cove, Rocky Mound, Harts Bluff, Monticello, Harvard, Hopewell, Roeder, Cuthand and Johntown.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Kimble and Sutton. * WHEN…Until 930 AM CST. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 622 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. – Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area.
