HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… Frankfort, Shelbyville, Madison, La Grange, New Castle, Taylorsville, Bedford, Pendleton, Hanover, and Eminence.

Severe thunderstorms are expected across portions of North Central and Southwest MT this afternoon through this evening. The main threat form any severe storm will be large hail greater than one inch and wind gusts over 60 mph. There is also the probability that a tornado could occur. The most likely area would be across Central MT, including areas around Stanford and Lewistown. Even if a thunderstorm moves through your area today, it might not be severe, however, any thunderstorm is capable of producing wind gusts around 50 mph and hail up to penny size today.
