At 630 PM EDT/530 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles west of Jasper to 11 miles northeast of Santa Claus. Movement was northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
