The University of Utah’s Nuclear Engineering Program (UNEP), part of the John and Marcia Price College of Engineering, is seeking applications for one full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Nuclear Engineering. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2026.

A successful candidate will join a dynamic and growing program housed in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CVEEN). CVEEN is one of seven rapidly expanding departments within the College, with a 50% growth in tenure-track faculty over the last decade and research expenditures now exceeding $81 million annually. The department currently has 23 tenure-track faculty and three lecturers, with active searches underway for additional positions. CVEEN maintains a robust research portfolio, with over $19 million in external funding in 2024. More information is available at www.civil.utah.edu.
