At 428 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles west of Toledo Bend Dam to Farrsville to near Town Bluff. Movement was south at 25 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include… Jasper, Newton, Kirbyville, Merryville, Toledo Bend Dam, Call, Bon Weir, Burkeville, Trout Creek, Farrsville, Magnolia Springs, Burr Ferry, Mayflower, Mt. Union, Jamestown, Roganville, Harrisburg, Junction, Stringtown, and Bleakwood.

* WHAT…Sneaker waves possible. * WHERE…North and Central Coast of Oregon, and South Washington Coast. * WHEN…Through late Sunday night. * IMPACTS…Waves can run up significantly farther on a beach than normal, including over rocks and jetties. Sneaker waves can suddenly knock people off of their feet and quickly pull them into the frigid ocean which may lead to serious injury or drowning. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A Beach Hazards Statement is issued when sneaker waves create potentially life-threatening conditions in the surf zone.
